Build Your Pet Memorial
Build Your Memorial is where you create, edit, and preview your complete pet memorial. Add your pet’s details, upload photos, write stories, choose music, select a colour theme, and choose either a video Gateway or your own uploaded Gateway image.
Custodian Details
Enter the Custodian name and email address. The Custodian is the person responsible for creating, editing, and managing the pet memorial.
Pet Details
Add your pet’s name, birth or adopted date, passed date, optional heading, epitaph, End Template message, and Leave Message.
Family / Owner Label
The Family Label lets you decide how the owner or family name is shown. The default label is “Family”, but this can be changed to suit the pet memorial.
Family Name
Add the family or owner name connected to the pet memorial. For example, this may be a family surname or the name of the pet’s owner.
LifeSlides
LifeSlides provide the core of the pet memorial experience. In Create Pet Memorial, LifeSlides are shown as thumbnails so you can preview, reorder, and edit the memorial journey.
A LifeSlide is either a Photo LifeSlide or a Story LifeSlide. It is never both. Use Add Photo and Add Story in the Life section to build your pet memorial.
Add a Photo LifeSlide
Go to the Life section, select Add Photo, upload an image, set the duration from 1 to 30 seconds, then save. Supported formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP.
Primary Photo
A Photo LifeSlide can be marked as the Primary Photo. This photo is used within the final End Template of the pet memorial.
Add a Story LifeSlide
Go to the Life section, select Add Story, enter your text, set the duration from 1 to 30 seconds, then save. Shorter stories are usually easier to read on mobile devices.
Autoplay & Duration
LifeSlides autoplay automatically. You choose how long each LifeSlide appears, from 1 to 30 seconds, and they play in the order you arrange them.
End Template
The pet memorial journey ends with the End Template. It can show the Primary Photo, your pet’s name, dates, selected colour theme, and End Template message. The default message is “In Loving Memory”.
Choose Colour Theme
Each pet memorial has a colour theme that defines the background used throughout the memorial journey. The selected colour theme applies to all LifeSlides and the End Template.
Select Music
Select background music for the pet memorial. Music plays throughout the memorial journey, gently loops as needed, and fades out during the End Template.
Preview Music
Music selections can be previewed before making a choice. Ideally, choose a track that suits the length and feeling of the pet memorial.
Select a Gateway
Every pet memorial begins with a Gateway. You can choose from the available video Gateways or upload your own image Gateway.
A video Gateway can be previewed before selecting. An image Gateway lets you upload one favourite image, which displays for 10 seconds before the pet memorial journey begins.

Please complete the required items before creating your pet memorial.

Important
After creating your pet memorial, keep your edit link and moderation link safe and secure. These links allow you to manage, edit, and moderate the pet memorial.
